A Pathway to Citizenship for All

Angela supports comprehensive immigration reform that includes a clear, attainable, and inclusive pathway to citizenship for the over 11 million undocumented people living in the United States. This includes:

• A pathway for DACA recipients, TPS holders, and essential workers who have long contributed to our economy and communities

• Protections against arbitrary deportations and the permanent separation of families

• Legislative solutions that end reliance on outdated and punitive immigration quotas

Citizenship is not just a legal status — it's a gateway to security, opportunity, and full participation in our democracy.

Protecting Mixed-Status Families and Expanding Access to Services

Angela will fight to ensure that mixed-status households have full access to essential social services, including healthcare, housing support, and pandemic relief. No one should be denied assistance because of a family member’s immigration status.

She also supports:

• Ending discriminatory policies that exclude immigrants from federally funded programs

• Expanding eligibility for driver’s licenses, in-state tuition, and other state-level supports regardless of status

• Federal protections against ICE surveillance in sensitive locations like schools, hospitals, and courthouses

Angela will advocate for significantly increased federal funding for:

• Legal representation in immigration court, especially for asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors
