Hold the Trump Administration Accountable

Angela believes no one is above the law, and that accountability for wrongdoing shouldn't depend on who holds power in Washington. As of mid-2026, House Democrats have signaled they intend to launch investigations into Trump administration officials if Democrats retake the House majority in November, covering allegations ranging from unlawful immigration raids to financial self-dealing to the use of the Justice Department against the administration's political opponents.

• Support congressional investigations into Trump administration officials for documented lawbreaking, and support DOJ prosecution in cases where evidence supports it 

• Push to restore an independent Department of Justice, insulated from political interference — in either direction. A justice system used to punish political enemies is a danger no matter which party controls it.

• Support subpoena power and document preservation requirements so investigations aren't stonewalled or evidence isn't destroyed before a new Congress can act

• Protect whistleblowers and inspectors general from retaliation
